My Amazing Weekend

For me, I believe I had a pretty amazing, once in a lifetime weekend!!!
It all started out on Friday evening when me and three other girlfriends went to Fargo to see Ronnie from Jersey at the Hub! We got there early enough to get right up to the front of the stage and it was pretty cool because that is where he was suppose to come out. Ronnie didn't get there till about 11:30 p.m. and we were pretty pissed at this moment because we were wondering what was taking him so long. Anyways, he finally did come up on the stage and everyone started freaking out and pushing and pulling. It was pretty much a mosh pit that I didn't want to be in, so I left my very good spot to escape the wildness. We stayed for a little while and danced it up and then left because it was getting really hot in there. We ate at Denny's and had an amazing meal and came home.
Next on my amazing weekend was going to the rodeo and seeing Jake Owen sing live. I'm not going to say The Hub wasn't fun, but it wasn't my element. I am a farm girl at heart, so when I got to put on my cowboy boots, flannel shirt, and jeans, I felt at home then. I went with my brothers, a friend of theirs and his girlfriend. It started off nicely because I got 2 free tickets because a friend of mine decided not to go anymore, so I was one pretty happy girl! The bull-riding was my favorite because I just love the thrill of what will happen (and because the guys don't look to shabby either). Then the girls started barrel racing and this made me miss my horse at home and how I used to ride her. Finally after all that fun, Jake Owen finally came on! He was amazing!! :)
So all in all, I think I had a pretty amazing weekend that I will never forget.

Blogasize

I am not quite sure I am doing this right but here is goes...

1. Link to the person who tagged you
2. Post these rules on your blog
3. Tell about your six quirks, see below.
4. Tag three bloggers to do the same
5. Leave them a comment to let them know you’ve tagged them

My six quirks:
1. I am a very naive person. I was raised on a small farm 16 miles out of a small town in way northwest Minnesota. My dad says that we live so far in the middle of nowhere that "we pipe sunlight in." I never got out much so when I did get to go out, it was a big treat for me. I hate to say this, but I am very gullible and it really sucks.
2. I am a very passionate and caring person. When someone is down in the dumps, I usually like to help them out a little bit the best way I can. The same goes for if someone I care about is sick, I like to make them comfortable and get them back to great health again.
3. When I am trying to relax, I usually rub my feet together. I don't have a clue why I do it, but it drives my roommate crazy! She thinks it is so weird and random that I do it, but I never notice until she points it out.
4. I can't stand being disliked. I like to be friendly towards to people, so when they aren't friendly back to me I get nervous and thinking that I did something wrong and I need to find a way to make up to them. Even if it was my fault or not.
5. When I chew my food, my jaw cracks. This has been happening ever since I was a little girl. I don't remember how or what happened to make my jaw crack when I chew my food.
6.  I tend to eat sleep. It's crazy, I know! I never knew I did until my dad heard me rummaging through the kitchen a couple times looking for something to eat. I never remembered at all that I was even out of bed.

Why I write...

I write for many reasons. Mostly I write for my family because most of my writings are about my family. Ever since I was a little girl, I would write little poems or songs that I would read aloud to the family. I think about it now and the poems and songs were really silly, but my parents still loved them.

I write because it makes me feel better. When I write something down on paper, it will stay there and it will never leave. I can look back on it and remember how I felt, what i thought, what happened, what should have happened, and so on. When I write, I block the whole world out so it is just me and the words.

I write because it makes my imagination wander. Depending on what I am writing about, I always think about the 5 senses: smell, hear, taste, touch, and see. I like to think of myself as a very opinionated person, but I can never say what my mind tells me to say, but when I write it down it just seems to make a whole lot more sense. Even when the words are there on the paper, you can take them back by just erasing and switching it up a bit.

I write because it is what I want to do with my life. In the future I plan to be a broadcast journalist. I want to write and tell about news and events and let the people know about it.
